MAVERICK 18HPX
The 18 HPX is the top of the stable for flats boats and all round performance. Polling shallow or long runs through messy chop, the HPX is a fishing machine. With Carbon/Kelvar construction its light weight is easily pushed by a 90 Evinrude Etec. Stiffy Push Pole and a Minn Kota electric stored in the bow hatch awaiting deeper water work, the Maverick is right at home in Hinchinbrook and Whitsundays alike.
REDFISHER 18
Jon Snell runs a Hewes Redfisher 18, equipped with a push pole, high rise poling platform and clean decks help make this one of the ultimate boats to fly fish from. The hull handles Cairns and Hinchinbrook chop with ease and the boat is incredibly comfortable, quiet and stable. Snelly's boat pictured above also runs offshore conditions to fish deep wrecks and reefs out of the Cairns area.
